Rangers of the North
This is fortified refuge of the Rohirrim hidden in the White Mountains. It is built on a clifftop overlooking Harrowdale. In order to reach the refuge, one must climb a winding path, known as the Stair of the Hold. This was path is lined with statues named the Púkel-men, once carved by the Men of the White Mountains, in the likeness of the Drúedain.
The “firienfeld”, a larg grassy area for the encampment of soldiers and those seeking refuge, precede the stair. At the top, large craved stones mark the entrance to the Dimholt, a natural amphitheater, which if followed leads into the Paths of the Dead.
